Safer manual handling has never been so easy. This 15 minute Online Manual Handling Course helps support the delivery of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) training to people who frequently perform manual handling activities.

Objectives

By the end of the course, trainees will:

• Understand the background to manual handling
• Know how the body is impacted bymanual handling
• Recognise the TILE approach for assessing manual handling tasks
• Understand the principles of manual handling
• Be able to apply techniques for safer manual handling
• Identify the role staff play in safer manual handling
