Course Overview

This course has been developed to provide the learner with an understanding of the controls that should be applied to excavations in the workplace.

Learning Outcomes

This course will provide an understanding of:

• what excavations are and ways that you may be exposed to the risks associated with excavations, and
• controls that should be applied to reduce the risk associated with excavations.

Target Audience

This course is aimed at workers who are already competent and is used as a sign off to confirm competence.
