Leadership Ethics
Course Overview
We expect other people at work to act with decency and integrity, but good behaviour starts with our own words and actions. Ethical leadership is about leading by example. Our own behaviour needs to set the standard that we expect other people to follow.
Leadership ethics isn’t just for the managers at the top. Anyone at a company can demonstrate good behaviour. It helps to create a positive culture in the workplace which allows every member of the team to thrive. It also helps build trust and loyalty.
In this course, we look at the steps that anyone can take to show ethical leadership.
Firstly, we look at the importance of being open and transparent. This involves both clear communication and good listening skills. Then we look at how to treat everyone in a way that is impartial and fair.
Next, we look at how to take responsibility and find solutions when mistakes are made and things go wrong. Finally, we look at how to demonstrate integrity by behaving in a consistently ethical way regardless of circumstances.
This microlearning course is an animated video, with audio narration and a multiple-choice post-assessment.
